I grew up in Albany, where upon graduating from high-school I followed a career path within the Royal Australian Navy as a Medic. This role saw me reside in multiple states across Australia and spend time both ashore and at sea.

My husband and I returned to Albany in 2014, as we had started our family and we believe that Albany is a wonderful family-friendly place to raise our children.

I have recently joined Merrifield Real Estate as a receptionist, after spending recent years working in a local medical practice. I am very much looking forward to learning about the real estate industry, getting to know our customers and working for many years at Merrifield Real Estate Albany.

 

I was born and raised in Albany and love spending my weekends playing sport, having a dip in the ocean and dining at cafes around town with my Husband.

I spent the first 4 Years of my working life in a Cellar Door environment as an Assistant Manager, where I found a passion for customer service and sales.

In 2021 I began exploring the Real Estate Industry as a career after building my first home and decided to step out of my Hospitality comfort zone.

I was employed locally as an Assistant Property Manager where whilst working the role I completed my Cert IV in Real Estate Practice and obtained my License to work as a Property Manager.

I am looking forward to my future in Real Estate with Merrifield and hope to work to complete my extra units to obtain my Unrestricted Real Estate License. I can’t wait to dive into my new position and learn more about the sales aspect of the industry!

I was raised in Cheshire, Northwest England. After finishing my college diploma in business and IT, I flew to Canada for a gap year.

My gap year turned into 5 years of skiing and traveling around north America! Before I returned home to study a Marketing & Commercial Music Production degree at Chester University.

In my final year of university, I met an Australian, who at the time I didn’t know would become my future wife. Together we decided to settle on moving to Albany.

Having a background in customer service and marketing I was inspired to learn more about residential property sales. After being in the industry for 2 years now, I have developed a huge passion for Albany real estate.

The competitive nature of industry drives me to provide the very best customer service to my clients in buying or selling their properties. I strive to work with clients who expect the best result in a reasonable time frame whilst giving each party a memorable experience.

In-between work commitments, I enjoy spending time with my wife Mary-Anne and Labradoodle Bella. We hope to purchase our first home in the next few months and start a family soon.

I joined Merrifield in 2020 as a Sales Administrator, after 12 years as a Senior Medical Receptionist at a local medical practice.

In my time here, I have completed my Real Estate License, and have moved into a Senior position. I am continually learning and always looking for ways to further my knowledge and skills. I am enjoying the challenges of working within a fast paced and competitive industry.

I grew up on a small farm in Ravensthorpe, and have lived locally since 2007.  After 15 years, I class myself as an Albany local, and love the beautiful coastline and friendly environment our town has to offer.

I look forward to developing further into my role and learning many more aspects of the real estate industry in the years to come.

 

I am a passionate Albany local of 34 years, being born and bred in this beautiful city. My parents built a successful business in town which they operated for more than 25 years. After completing school in Albany, I worked for a national retailer before moving into the banking industry. After 10 years in customer service & banking, I was ready for a new challenge and wanted an outlet to further develop my customer relationship skills. Making the move to Merrifield Real Estate was the best career decision I have made & I now have well over a decade of Banking & Real Estate experience to bring to the table.

My goal when I come to work each day is to give my customers the best possible service. I get enjoyment and satisfaction out of helping people which gives me my enthusiasm and passion for the industry.
Since beginning my real estate career, I have been honoured to receive five awards. In July 2017 I was awarded “Top Listing Rookie WA” by REIWA. I was then awarded “Agent of the Year” for Bayonet Head by RateMyAgent in 2020, and “Agent of the Year” for the Albany Region by RateMyAgent the last 4 years in a row (2021, 2020, 2019, & 2018).

On a personal note, outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son Charlie, usually at the beach (in the summer), riding our bikes/scooters, or coaching Charlie’s soccer team in the winter. In 2017/18 I completed a 12-month renovation of the inside of my home, which has certainly opened my eyes to the obstacles of home renovation. In 2020 the shed/games room was completed, and now in 2021/22, the external renovations have begun. I believe that this ongoing experience is invaluable to not only my career, but also my life, and is an experience I will never forget.

The son of a successful Albany businessman, I have an appetite for success and hard work having been brought up in with a farming background. My Real Estate career began in 2003 as a sales Consultant and in December 2007 I purchased the business Merrifield Real Estate.

I am involved in many community organisations and hold current board positions with The Albany Community Foundation, Small Business Centre Great Southern, Albany Finance and Manypeaks Cricket Club. I have been involved with mentoring students at St Joseph’s for 10+ years. I currently oversee a business networking group. Throughout the community, I have built relationships with many prominent business people while also giving something back to the people that helped me get to where I am today, which is an important trait that I value within my business.

I provide expert knowledge, service to all clients and work hard towards achieving positive results for them. I specialise in residential house and land sales, investment properties, developments, farm lets, and residential sub-division having listed and sold many millions of dollars’ worth over my career.

My 18 years employed in real estate and my Bachelor of Property and Real Estate demonstrate my commitment to not only forging a career in this industry, but also striving for knowledge and skills to achieve the best results for my clients.

I started in the industry in the valuations division of a busy office before I moved into sales administration followed by residential sales. My time as residential sales consultant was an excellent starting block for my current position as a commercial sales, leasing, and property manager at Merrifield Real Estate.

With my wide experience, I am knowledgeable in all aspects of this dynamic industry. This has been expanded by my tertiary studies, in which I gained competency in areas such as property and business law, property valuation, economics, management, money and capital markets, sustainable construction, property analysis and property development.

I enjoy the challenges and rewards of my role at Merrifield. I thrive on the nature of the industry and meeting new people and am dedicated to helping clients find the right property to suit their business needs. I constantly strive to provide my clients with high standards of customer service and professionalism right from our first point of contact to the ongoing management of individual properties.
