I was born and raised in Margaret River where I grew up loving the country lifestyle. A short lived move to Perth made me miss the country more than ever, and I moved to Albany with my partner to be with family, friends and the coast.
I have 7 years experience in customer service and administration and I was lucky enough to be employed by Merrifield Real Estate in 2021, as a Commercial Assistant. I was grateful to be give the opportunity to further my knowledge and have now completed my Cert IV in Real Estate Practice and have obtained my License to work as a Property Manager.
I look forward to the future and working within this company and my role.
I grew up in Denmark and spent most of my life there until moving to Busselton for a few years and then onto Perth for another few years.
I have been in Real Estate since 2014 working in Residential Property Management throughout Busselton and Perth and have never looked back.
I met my now husband and we relocated back to Albany in 2017 where I then started at Merrifield Real Estate. We welcomed our daughter in early 2022 and since returning from maternity leave I am starting my new path in Commercial Property Management.
I am passionate about achieving the best results for our clients and I love that not every day is the same.
After previously working in the legal industry, I began my real estate career in 2018 when I was employed by Merrifield Real Estate as a receptionist.
Starting my real estate career as a receptionist gave me the chance to get a broad overview of all aspects of the real estate industry. I then began working as the Strata and Commercial assistant and enjoy the continuous learning that comes with the role.
After commencing in Property Management administration in 2000 at a local Albany real estate office, I quickly realised that Property Management was the industry that I wanted to build my career in. I then completed my Property Management Registration course and became a Property Manager with my own portfolio.
During an overseas working holiday, I worked in a boutique real estate office as a leasing consultant and during this time I gained a variety of customer service skills and extended my knowledge of the Property Management industry.
After having a family, I then went back to an assistant/administration role and have since moved to Merrifield Real Estate as a Strata Manager.
I feel my passion for Albany and for excellent customer service and attention to detail will be beneficial to all clients that I deal with.
10 years ago, I moved to Albany from the country, working in a variety of employment I have gained plenty of experience in many different fields.
I began my career at Merrifield Real Estate in 2011 as a Property Manager Assistant. I then stepped up and became a Property Manager in 2012. I worked as a Property Manager for a couple of years before I went on extended maternity leave to raise my two beautiful children.
They are now school age, so I have returned part time. This time round I have joined the Commercial and Strata team. I enjoy the work / family life balance.
My vast experience in the real estate industry has been obtained over the past 28 years of my employment, beginning in Perth and then in Albany during the last 20 years.
I began working as a residential property manager in a small office in Perth and within a few years progressed into an office on St Georges Terrace within the Perth CBD. Here I worked in the specialised field of commercial and strata company developments and management.
Moving to Albany from Perth has been a positive move for me and I appreciate living in our beautiful coastal town with all it has to offer. My time away from work is kept busy with my family, running around after our three boys, or enjoying some quiet time in my garden.
Here at Merrifield Real Estate, I work as a Commercial Property Manager alongside Carly Szcecinski and Jemma Quintrell. I am also a part of our Strata Management Team where I support Selena Taylor, our Strata Company Manager. I believe in delivering to our Merrifield clients professional and honest service with a smile, which is backed up by experience and expertise.
